Eugénie Bidaut

Eugénie Bidaut is a graphic and type designer. A graduate of the École Européenne Supérieure d’Art de Rennes in 2020 and the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (Nancy) in 2022, she works mainly for and with cultural structures and activist organisations. Based in Brussels, she works freelance on type design, visual identity design, editorial design and web development projects. She frequently collaborates with other Belgian and French graphic designers. She teaches type design and typography at ENSAV La Cambre, ESA Saint-Luc and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. Since 2020, first with the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique and then with the Bye Bye Binary collective, she has been conducting practical and theoretical research into type design as a tool for demasculinising and debinarising the French language, and has taken part in the creation of various post-binary fonts.
